The desert
Morocco is a mountainous country, which takes its roots in the desert.

 The desert covers more than 800 km of the South Atlas from the Atlantic to the Hamada Guir of the vast region which announces the Sahara.

The desert installs smoothly, a little against the Atlas Mountains, but reaching its full extent within the confines of the south.

In Morocco, the desert is still alive, as evidenced by the green valley of Draa, Zagora and between M'hamid and Jbel Sarho.

But to gain a know more the Sahara, it is sufficient to cross the great rivers that run, the Ziz, the Draa who mostly are no longer as beds dry but subject to flooding impressive.

Draa Valley
Haven of peace, abundance before the fresh horrors of the desert, the Draa Valley is a huge oasis, stretching its meandering Agdz to M'hamid, nearly two hundred kilometers.

Country of Berber on which, born a fantastic union of mountain and desert, the meeting of water and sun, the Atlas and the Sahara, the Drâa valley is alone.

Once, long caravans walks across the region by camel to share, further south, fabrics, glass beads and salt against the gold, slaves, leather and pepper.
